Marketing and Communications Specialist Responsibilities: The Communications and Marketing Specialist for MOSAIC centers provides strategic and active management of all marketing and communication functions for the assigned portfolio of units.

This position is comprised of several main components: 1) Management of the marketing needs for a portfolio of units, including creation, design, and production of printed and web-based visual identity pieces; management of social media presence and development of social media implementation plan; design of websites for the unit; 2) Supervision of support team of student designers 3) Establishing a strong relationship with key stakeholders in each portfolio unit by maintaining a substantial presence within the units and gaining an in depth understanding of portfolio’s communication and marketing needs.

This position will report to the Director of Communications and Marketing for University Life.

Required Qualifications: * A Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or relevant field or equivalent experience.

Successful candidates will have strong marketing skills and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or other design programs.

All candidates should have demonstrated experience in utilizing project management platforms and content management systems (CMS).

Strong knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

* Additionally, successful candidates must have exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; A qualified candidate will have highly developed organizational management and problem-solving skills, and must work accurately and efficiently in order to meet a multitude of deadlines and responsibilities.

The ability to work well in a team environment is required.
