This job opportunity is to join JPMorgan's Data Technology team in Plano and work on the creation of a cloud based state of the art Data platform that would help Data SMEs ingest, transform, model data and make it ready for commercialization through the commercialization tool.Be a part of an Agile, collaborative and dynamic team that works on multiple work streams across locations and delivers great value to the business.Roles, Responsibilities and skill sets requireddWork with enterprise solution and data architects, product owners, project managers and other stakeholders to gather and understand data and system requirements and design data solutionsArchitect, Design and Build a secure data platform using a combination of AWS services and Big data toolsThe candidate should demonstrate proficiency in building batch and streaming based data pipelines using AWS servicesShould have hands-on experience in Big Data storage and processing frameworks like Hadoop,Spark,Hive,etcShould have hands-on experience with any programming language (Python - Preferred)Should be able to troubleshoot and debug issues related to data processing and application developmentExperience in building and supporting large scale data processing systems in a production environmentGood knowledge in AWS Cloud services related to compute, storage, networking, messaging, automation (Cloudformation, Terraform, etc.) and dataStrong knowledge in IAM and access controlExperience in working on migration of data platforms from on-premise to AWS and database migrationsGood knowledge on concepts related to data warehousing, database modelling, data quality and reference data managementGood knowledge on Data/ETL testingEager to explore new cloud offerings and continue to improve and optimize data storage and processing and application deploymentNice to HaveExperience with Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK) stackExperience with monitoring tools such as Splunk,Datadog,etcBasic understanding of data science and ML techniquesQualifications3+ years of hands on experience in building data platform using AWS services and Big data tools10+ years of overall experience in software development and testingMust have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skillsJ.P.
