This position has a selective placement factor for the 0819, which is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0819 series.

Your license must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

NOTE: You must submit a copy of registration with your application to be considered for this position.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations in multiple environmental media including air, water, waste, natural resources and cultural resources, and environmental planning; 2) Reviewing projects, operations, and/or training programs to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations; and 3) Managing environmental programs, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and coordinating effective solutions.
