This position is located in the U.S.

Department of Education (ED), Federal Student Aid (FSA), Partner Participation and Oversight (PPO), Partner Eligibility and Oversight Services Directorate (PEOSD), School Eligibility and Oversight Service Group (SEOSG).

The SEOSG is responsible for the oversight services of eligible postsecondary Title IV schools and their servicers.

Minimum Qualification Requirementsnhttps://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/1100/general-business-and-industry-series-1101a/Specialized Experience for GS-09nOne year of experience equivalent to the GS-07 performing at least two (2) of the following three (3) duties or work assignments: Experience working with one or more of the HEA Title IV Programs.nExperience analyzing materials and making well documented recommendations.nExperience communicating, orally and in writing, about the HEA Title IV programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)nThe quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).

Knowledge of the HEA Title IV Regulations.nProven analytical abilities.nProficient skills in writtenand verbal communication.

Specialized Experience for GS-11nOne year of experience equivalent to the GS-09 performing at least two (2) of the following three (3) duties or work assignments: Experience administering processes and policies related to the HEA Title IV Programs.nExperience analyzing complex materials and make well documented recommendations.nExperience communicating complex issues, orally and in writing, related to HEA Title IV compliance requirements to internal and external constituents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)nThe quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).

Proficient knowledge of the HEA Title IV regulations.nAbility to analyze data to make informed recommendations regarding HEA Title IV issues.nSuperior technical writing and communication skills.

Specialized Experience for GS-12nOne year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 performing at least two (2) of the following three (3) duties or work assignments: Experience which demonstrates thorough applied knowledge of the HEA Title IV programs and related regulations.nExtensive experience with analyzing complex materials related to institutional compliance in multiple the HEA Title IV programs.nExperience which demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing decisions and making recommendations to upper management regarding actions required to ensure compliance with HEA Title IV regulatory requirements.
