THIS IS A PUBLIC NOTICE.nThis full-time remote position is located in GSA, Technology Transformation Services (TTS), and is responsible for improving the public’s experience by helping federal agencies make their services more accessible, efficient, secure and effective.

The incumbent will serve as agency IT expert to perform analyses to improve business processes, solutions, practices, products, services or strategies based on user needs.

The total salary will be determined upon selection and based on the associated GSlocality pay table for yourassigned duty location.nThe GS14 step 1 salary range starts at$111,521 per year.

The total salary will be determined upon selection and based on the associated GSlocality pay table for yourassigned duty location.The GS15 step 1 salary range starts at$131,178 per year.

The total salary will be determined upon selection and based on the associated GSlocality pay table for yourassigned duty location.nIf you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.nQUALIFICATIONSnBASIC REQUIREMENTS: Have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies listed below:nAttention to Detail- This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant keeps abreast of latest technology, information, research, etc., to maintain knowledge in field of expertise (for example, reads trade journals, participates in professional/technical associations, maintains credentials).nCustomer Service- skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant promotes or develops and maintains good working relationships with key individuals or groups.nOral Communication- This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant serves on panels, committees, or task forces as a representative for the organization on technical or professional issues.nProblem Solving -This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant monitors current trends or events (for example, technological, economic, political, social, educational, or employment trends or events) and applies the information as appropriate;ANDnGS-13 LEVEL SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience.

Specialized experience:Specialized experience for this role is defined as experience collaborating on design, content strategy, or service design projects and initiatives; Experience using design methodologies such as information architecture, UX writing, editorial design, usability research, user interviews, contextual inquiries, observational research, participatory workshops or product design; Experience in designing and/or developing digital products, platforms, or services; Experience with iterative or agile methodologies; Experience participating in content strategy or design sessions or workshops.nORnGS-14 LEVEL SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience.

Specialized experience:Specialized experience for this role is defined as experience leading and completing a design, content strategy, or service design initiative, engagement, project, or strategy; Experience working on and leading a cross-functional team in an agile or iterative environment; Experience with content strategy or design methodologies.

For example: information architecture, UX writing, editorial design, usability research, user interviews, contextual inquiries, observational research, participatory workshops or product design; Experience participating in the design, development, and delivery of digital products, platforms, or services; Experience participating in content strategy or design sessions or workshops.nORnGS-15 LEVEL SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience.

Specialized experience:Specialized experience for this role is defined as experience leading and collaborating on design, content strategy, or service design projects and initiatives; Experience managing and working on cross-functional teams in an agile or iterative environment; Experience with content strategy or design methodologies.

For example: information architecture, UX writing, editorial design, usability research, user interviews, contextual inquiries, observational research, participatory workshops or product design; Experience with the creation, design, or delivery of digital products, platforms, systems, or services; Experience facilitating content strategy, design sessions, or workshops; Experience leading a team of designers and training them on user centered design, content strategy, content design, or service design methodologies.
