This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates.

The selective placement factor is: Applicants must possess EPA universal refrigerant certification.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.

Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION.

I have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1.

Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, such as circulating air and chilled water air conditioning systems, high medium and low temperature refrigeration systems, and total environmental control systems.

2.

Using a variety of software (such as HVAC Pro (Johnson Controls), Siemens Controls Systems, Automated Logic Systems, or other Direct Digital Controls (DDC) Manufacturer programs) to maintain DDC equipment.

3.

Evaluating system operations to detect deficiencies, troubleshoot causes and make needed adjustments and repairs.

4.

Using control related computer functions and peripherals (including analong and digital electronics and microprocessor fundamentals) to support a variety of analog and binary electronic and pneumatic devices.

5.

Reading blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, design specifications and program code to support existing or newly constructed HVAC systems.
