As a Social Media Specialist, you will be coordinating social media strategy and content to increase awareness of the agency's mission and activities, goals and objectives.Location of position:GSA, Office of Strategic Communication.
Location will be determined upon selection.The Office of Strategic Communication is responsible for using communication to help the agency meet its mission and business goals.

Specialized experience is defined as creating digital content for social media platforms, website content management and support, and digital governance compliance.
Experience must include creating digital and motion graphic content; uploading videos and photos: and soliciting, coordinating, and editing contributions from other contributors; performing analytical, administrative, and technical work designed to add, update, create, and publish content for digital distribution; and writing and editing blog posts.nPossess a Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M.
if related.ORnHave a combination of graduate level education beyond the first 2 years of graduate study and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements for this position.
The GS-12 base salary range starts at $68,299.00per year.Locality pay will be determined once the duty location has been established.nTo qualify for the GS-12 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to theGS-11level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience creating social media content, including motion graphic and written content, for a social media platform; planning and executing social campaigns that promote an organization's mission and activities; and performing analysis and reporting performance of social media content and making recommendations for improvement.
