Seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop and test human microphysiological systems in studies that examine genome editing outcomes and vascular function using primary and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived cells.

Applicant will fabricate MPS using CRISPR-modified cells and use MPS as platform to understand myopathies and vascular function.

Requirements Education: PhD in biomedical engineering or related field Experience with cell culture, in vitro cytokine interactions with engineered tissues; human cell culture; quantification of biological data; confocal microscopy; western blotting; RT-PCR; differentiation of iPSCs; functional measures of engineered tissues; experience isolating human cells from tissue; experimental design and statistical.

Experience with microphysiological systems and mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students is highly desirable.
