You will serve as a HEALTH PHYSICIST in the RADIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING DIVISION of PSNS and IMF.

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate: For the GS-11: At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Health Physicist monitoring and reviewing work sequences to develop radiological control procedures to improve radiological control practices and prevent work stoppages.

For the GS-09: At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Health Physicist analyzing radiological control processes to assess and investigate radiological issues to ensure radiological control and prevent work stoppages.

Education may be substituted for specialized experience: For the GS-11:nSuccessful completion of a Ph.D, or equivalent doctoral degree;nORnSuccessful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree;nORnA combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

The percentage of required education plus the percentage of required experience equal one hundred percent.

For the GS-09:nSuccessful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree;nORnSuccessful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's or equivalent graduate degree;nORnA combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

The percentage of required education plus the percentage of required experience equal one hundred percent.
