About the Position: This is a Permanent position with the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Deputy Commander of Clinical Services, Behavioral Health Service Line at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

This is an Open Continuous Announcement.

Basic Requirement for Social Worker (Clinical) Degree: Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations of behavioral health patients, providing individual or group clinical counseling; AND 2) Developing behavioral health treatment recommendations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

AND Licensure Requirement: A current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Clinical Social Work independently, offered by a U.S.

State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:nCare ManagementClinical AnalysisTherapy and Counseling Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement.
