For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing functional tests to determine the extent and location of malfunction; 2) Performing full range of repair and maintenance on the various types of equipment; 3) Designing the construction of or personally fabricating various test devices, electronic and mechanical, for instructional purposes.

For the GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting performance tests of equipment and components to insure proper operation for lab instruction.

2) Investigating causes of equipment and component failures.

3) Determining engine Instrumentation necessary for monitoring operation, performance, efficiency and emissions measurements.
