 We anticipate this will be up to 19.9 hours a week.

  Occupational Summary The Department Family Medicine and Community Health is looking for advanced/specialized student assistants to support research professors in ongoing research projects.

In this role, student assistants will work on a project that is developing a network-based, social support intervention to increase retention in HIV care and ART adherence for adolescents living with HIV.

This project will involve collaborating with an expert panel using a qualitative, iterative development process.

Long-term the project will include designing a digital platform for adolescents living with HIV to connect with health care providers and social services.

    Work Performed Duties in this role will include but are not limited to, recruiting, enrolling, consenting and reimbursing research study participants.

  Additionally, the position will include conducting interviews, administering quantitative surveys, recording, translating and transcribing participant responses.

Once data is collected, a person in this position will assist with data cleaning, coding, interpretation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.

  The position will require additional research and scholarly duties, such as, literature reviews and manuscript and presentation preparation.

 Position requires the student assistant to maintain communication with study staff and investigator with information about the progress and metrics of ongoing research, and be up to date on training.
