This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of a PIPEFITTER without more than normal supervision performing: 1) Troubleshoot and test piping systems and equipment for proper circulation, flow, pressure and leak free joints; 2) Plan and layout installation, modification, and repair of various new and existing piping systems and equipment including various kinds of piping, risers, and flexible branches at the proper level and incline; and 3) Operate various hand and power tools and devices (e.g., hand and power pipe threaders and cutters, flanges, pipe wrenches, grinders, templates, sliding squares, measuring tapes, chalk lines, plumb bobs, etc.).
