By partnering with parents, volunteers and others in the community, we are accountable for each child achieving a)increased ability to manage their condition, b)better relationships, greater confidence, and enhanced quality of life, and c)avoidance of risky behaviors.

  RESPONSIBILITIES: The Program Coordinator will be an outgoing, energetic addition to our team who will help oversee four elements of our mentoring program: Volunteer Management Research Marketing and Communications Fundraising and Events Work closely with the Founder to ensure volunteer recruitment goals are achieved Matches are supported Program is evaluated regularly Team member will also support the Founder and MedMentor Board of Directors with various fundraising efforts and public relations functions May also served as the primary representative from MedMentor at community events where we're asked to have a presence Running the social media channels, including sourcing, organizing, and posting content for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Writing occasional blog posts for the website and provide content for the quarterly newsletter   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements Is at least 16 years of age Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school at least part-time (one (1) or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term or will be registered student during the next academic term.

  ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED: Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple duties and priorities in deadline-intensive situations Experience with Excel Experience with Google Drive The ability to  handle conflict, confrontation and uncomfortable situations head-on with grace Should be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.

Date of hire through 6/30/2020 ( will be evaluate by 6/30/2020 whether an offer will be made to extend contract beyond 6/30/2020.
