Are you interested in helping to operationalize the newly enacted Postal Service Health Benefits Program (PSHBP), which will provide health insurance coverage to more than 1.6 million Postal Service employees, Postal Service annuitants and their eligible family members? Knowledge of statistical concepts, principles, processes, and procedures required to perform advanced statistical modeling and forecasting to examine and identify key trends and gaps in the data using traditional and advanced methods/techniques as well as analyzing complex statistics and other qualitative/quantitative data.

Ability to use statistical tools to interpret data sets, identify trends and patterns that could prove valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.

Knowledge and understanding of National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standards (D.0 format), National Drug Codes (NDCs), drug classification databases, pharmacy claims processing, drug pricing, and pharmacy claims.

For the GS-09, One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level (or equivalent) OR a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, OR a combination of the specialized experience and education.

For the GS-11, One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level (or equivalent) OR you must have a Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree, OR a combination of the specialized experience and education.

For the GS-12, One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level (or equivalent).

For the GS-13, One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent).

For the GS-14, One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level (or equivalent).nYou must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
