The USPS OIG is seeking students enrolled in college/university programs to fill our Student Cooperative position in the Office of Investigations, Investigations Operations Center, located in Arlington, VA.

This position is for those interested in pursuing a professional career with USPS-OIG.

The Student Cooperative Program is available for continuous employment throughout the year, while enrolled in school.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS You must meet ALL of the minimum requirements.

Students must be currently enrolled full or half-time in an accredited college or university program, classified or academically ranked by semester hours as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student and graduating no sooner than May 2021.

(MUST SUBMIT TRANSCRIPT STATING CURRENT ENROLLMENT STATUS, GPA AND IN GOOD STANDING) Must be in academic good standing as defined by the college or university, earning at least a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.

Must be currently enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate degree program Must be able to report to work in the USPS-OIG office for which you are selected during the core business hours (9 am - 3 pm)? Must have experience with computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Previous internship/co-op/employment in the criminal justice field SharePoint Experience and/or advanced experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.

EVALUATION FACTORS USA Hire Assessment A structured Interview will be conducted for the top-rated applicants to validate your experience meets the critical competencies at the minimum proficiency level: Ability to conduct research Ability effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with individuals within and outside of an organization Ability to effectively coordinate inventory and logistics across a large organization Ability to work in a team environment, and to develop and maintain effective working relationships across OIG components and with stakeholders and other agencies and organizations Ability to analyze large datasets and present your findings Ability to collaborate on projects as well as your ability to present your findings in a professional setting.
