This position is located in the Branch of Data Integration (BDI) within the Division of Budget and Technical Support (DBTS) under the Assistant Director for Ecological Services (AD-ES) in Bailey's Crossroads, VA.
Only experience and education obtained by 05/29/2020 will be considered.
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: Possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience may include: Serving as lead in software requirement gathering session; to enable clear and effective communication with (biological) business sponsors and with technology team; etc; Lead in evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions; Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies; Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and making recommendations; Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
