Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure track position in earth and environmental sciences at the assistant professor level.

Lehigh University and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences have a strong commitment to the inclusion and engagement of our increasingly diverse student population.

We particularly seek candidates who will successfully serve as mentors and role models for students belonging to groups that are historically underrepresented in earth and environmental sciences.

Successful candidates will have a PhD, research expertise that contributes to department strengths, a commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Applications should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching interests, and a description of experience and vision for enhancing participation of historically underrepresented groups, and three letters of reference.
