This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, New York Regional Office, New York City, NY or Boston Area Office, Braintree, MA of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the area of examinations of banks with a special emphasis on trust and securities activities.nAdditional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Additional qualifications information can be found here.nTo qualify for CG-13 applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 12 level in the Federal service.nSpecialized experience is experience as a Commissioned Examiner in the FDIC or another organization with comparable commissioning criteria to that used by the FDIC's Division of Risk Management Supervision.
Such experience includes experience that has provided the candidate with the knowledge and ability to perform examinations of insured depository institutions, relating to trust and securities activities to evaluate the safety, soundness, and risk posed to the insurance fund.nTo qualify for CG-14 applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 13 level in the Federal service.nSpecialized experience is experience as a Commissioned Examiner in the FDIC or another organization with comparable commissioning criteria to that used by the FDIC's Division of Risk Management Supervision.
Such experience includes assessing risk posed by trust and security activities in financial institutions, and analyzing reports of complex examinations, applications, and investigations to prepare summaries of findings, memoranda, and recommendations.nApplicant must be a commissioned Risk Examiner.nApplicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
Salary: 101K-230K Per Year
