The incumbent is the fireman/mechanic helper for the park's vintage steam locomotive and is responsible for monitoring its operation and making decisions regarding the operation, care and maintenance.

This is a permanent, year round position with a full-time work schedule.

Government housing is not available.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Reliability and Dependability (Screen Out) Ability To Follow Directions in a Shop Dexterity and Safety Shop Aptitude and Interest Special Aptitude If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
