The Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Technology will perform a variety of functions for communication, marketing and technology.
The Graduate Assistant will provide marketing and technology support for program events and services; analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action in order to make decisions on efficient and effective communication approaches; explore innovative ways to market the office to various audiences; develop and write promotional collateral (i.e.
newsletters, brochures, websites) to promote the office to designated audiences; develop press releases for media outlets; develop and refine key messages, promote program services; develop and update website content; publish newsletters which include educational and program-based content for target populations; assist with coordination of special events; analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing, technology and other programmatic efforts; provide first level technical support and user support for computers, AV equipment and other hardware and software; conduct presentations and trainings for various stakeholders; and other marketing, technology and programmatic project coordination tasks as needed.
The Graduate Assistant reports directly to the Assistant Director for Marketing and Technology.
