Director Software ArchitectureThe OutMatch Director of Software Architecture is a technical visionary, leading a team of enterprise software architects and data architects who provide technical expertise to a set of agile, autonomous squads who implement our SaaS applications.What You’ll Do:Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to provide leadership in developing architecturally-sound software solutions for new products and features, and to integrate newly acquired technology stacks into the OutMatch platformDevelop plans for evolving the OutMatch software and data architecture to achieve business goals while ensuring alignment with long-term IT strategic plansEnsure that OutMatch applications, services, and data are secure and comply with all regulations around privacy, security, transparency, and social responsibilityLead technology optimization and rationalization efforts and leverage existing investments through reuse and consolidationAnalyze industry trends, market trends, and emerging technologies for adoption opportunities into the OutMatch architecture ecosystem and focusing on cloud-based technologies and services, to accelerate time to market and reduce costGuide agile autonomous teams in adopting and evolving design patterns, coding practices, programming languages, frameworks, and CI/CD processes and toolsMentor architects, tech leads and developers in establishing and applying best-in-class practices for domain-driven design, coding, and deployments through design sessions, knowledge shares, and technical oversightEngage with the entire IT organization in the continuous improvement of the software development life cycle.What You’ll Need:3+ years’ experience leading other architects7+ years’ architecting and designing SaaS web-based and service-oriented applications (REST).Strong understanding of software and data architecture patterns and their implementationExperience combining disparate technology stacks into one customer-facing, integrated solutionStrong understanding of cloud-based technologiesA passion for software and data architecture and adopting new technologiesExperience working with remote/offshore team members – OutMatch has a globally distributed R&D teamWhat You'll Get:To be part of a high-performing, highly collaborative environment full of people who love what they do and who are dedicated to successA culture focused on achieving results and transparent communicationA solid, experienced management team invested in your developmentThe opportunity to build skills and experiences that enable you to be successful quickly while paving the way for career growthAn executive team dedicated to the safety and well-being of all team membersDiscretionary paid time off...whey you need it, you take itDedicated development and planning time each weekA world-class platform with an elegant user interface that empowers our clients to positively impact their business resultsA competitive base salary and great incentive programMonthly mobile connectivity allowance100% company paid individual medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match
