As a Technical Architect, you will architect, design, and build the future Products & Services capabilities at T-Mobile.

This position will work very closely with Leadership, Principal Architects and Development team members on the application design and implementation of APIs and Microservices propogating product data throughout T-Mobile systems.

While this position includes hands-on development work, it also focuses a majority of the time on technical leadership, which includes code reviews, coaching engineers, documenting and evolving coding standards and best practices, performing data modeling, participating in advanced troubleshooting of production and pre-production systems, and authoring frameworks and utilities to improve the efficiency of the engineering staff.Responsibilities Owns design for a given capability and individual system; maintains frameworks, standards and libraries.Supports product lifecycle from business discussions through test/deploy as it relates to requirement refinement and data designs business needs.Creates scalable, extensible designs that are easy to implement and perform and follows architecture standards for IT system design and enable success for IT teams.Proactively identifies, addresses and escalates (if needed) when solutions are overly complex or will compromise implementation.Drive the evolution of infrastructure, processes, products, and services by influencing decision makers and working with Architects in other domains.Participation in drafting and driving Products & Services roadmap.

Create architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the development team.Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.Prepare visual diagrams of system architecture, functionality, and process flows.Educate organization on available and emerging toolsets.Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes, tools, and environments as appropriateQualifications 2+ years of experience with enterprise level database systems Specifically NoSQL, ElasticSearch and Streaming technologies2+ years experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions.Understanding of data modeling principles in relational and dimensional database structures.Hands on experience with Java software design patterns and in suggesting a pattern for a specific designExcellent customer management skills including the ability to use personal initiative and to be a "self-starter"Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsProgressive experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence.Experience with APIs and Microservices and supporting technology tools/processes.Experience with a variety of information architecture components such as MDM, data quality, metadata management, content management, Big Data/NoSQL, SOA, etc.,Familiarity with Artifactory, Gitlab, AppDynamics, Splunk.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree.
