The primary purpose of this position is: This is a formal Air Force civilian training position, established under the PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program.

As such, it is centrally managed and funded by the Air Force Personnel Center, Force Renewal and Development Directorate and administered by the Communications and Information Career Field Team, HQ AFPC/DP2Z, JBSA-Randolph TX 78150-4530.

Qualified candidates will be considered in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Guidelines .

Your resume will be rated under category rating procedures: 1.

Qualified category: Meets the minimum qualifications as described in the qualification section of this announcement and obtain a rating between 70-79 on the applicable assessment.

2.

Highly-qualified category: Meets the minimum qualification requirements and demonstrates proficiency in critical competencies and obtain a rating between 80-89 on the applicable assessment.

3.

Best-qualified category: Meets the minimum qualification requirements and excels in critical competencies and obtain a rating between 90-100 on the applicable assessment.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Salary: 49K-64K Per Year
