The primary purpose of this position is to carry out a variety of project plans in support of the unit recreation program.

Specialized Experience Requirement: For the GS-06 grade level: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service.
Examples of specialized experience could include: Inspected special use permits such as outfitter guide operations, issued notices of non-compliance issues and report to supervisor; Inspected and maintained recreation facilities and areas; Led and coordinated crew to maintain recreation sites; Monitored forest areas to identify violations of federal regulations such as enforcement of off-road vehicle restrictions.
OR One full year (18 semester/27 quarter hours) of successfully completed graduate level coursework that is directly related to the work of the position (such as forestry, range management, agriculture) from an accredited college or university; OR A combination of experience and education which together meets the qualification requirements of this position.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Salary: 39K-39K Per Year
