You will serve as system manager within the Aero sciences and Flight Mechanics Division at Johnson Space Center responsible for Rendezvous and Proximity Operations and Capture (RPOC) Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) performance assessments of all non-Russian visiting vehicles to the International Space Station (ISS).
In addition to the basic education requirement (shown below), you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level such as; utilizing principles, practices and techniques of project management to lead a multidisciplinary team that interfaces with cross-organizational customers;nApplying and assessing International Space Station (ISS) Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) visiting vehicle performance requirements relative to commercial providers of cargo and crew deliveries to the ISS; experience with funding, budgetary practices, and policies applicable to management, formulation, and implementation of projects.
