Serves as a senior Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) professional supporting the Exploration Systems Development (ESD) Office, Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate, and NASA Headquarters.
Supports development and operations of aerospace flight systems, by leading and performing integration, such as, requirements definition, research, technology development, test analysis, collaboration and management of interdisciplinary functions across multiple organizations and NASA.
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, and/or directly related education, as shown below, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of this position.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level such as; providing technical leadership, project management, and engineering and advice on the formulation, design, development, test, evaluation and integration of aerospace systems and production operations for Human Exploration programs and projects.
Leading, or participating on, multi-disciplined teams, engineers, technicians, and professionals; collaborating with stakeholders.
Providing technical advice on aerospace systems integration, testing and resolving problems identified during integration and test.
