You will serve as a Supervisory Nuclear Engineer in the Secondary and Auxiliary Valves Branch of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience engineering, planning and coordinating the technical control of all work pertaining to construction, overhaul, repair and modification of auxiliary valves associated with a nuclear reactor plant.

Experience providing engineering direction for development, design, installation and performance of nuclear materials.

Experience reviewing all nuclear work to ensure the most recent and desirable features of nuclear plant technology and science have been fully integrated into the work processes.

Experience identifying employee developmental needs and providing or arranging for training to maintain and improve job performance.

Experience assessing and revising policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness and efficiency of work.
