What General Information Do I Need To Know About This Position? Open to current or former Federal employees: SOL-2020-0039.Salary: GS-9 $58,006 (Step 01) to $93,638 (Step 10); NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired atthe Step 01.

GS-09nApplicants must meet one of the following to qualify for the GS-09:n--Possess 1-year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.

To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service.

Examples of GS-07 level work may include: assisting in reviewing ethics forms (i.e., financial disclosures, gifts, post-employment, or other ethic documents); creating and maintaining accurate spreadsheets of travel expenses received from non-Federal entities, outside activity requests, contributions, agreements and financial disclosure report filers; categorizing and filing ethics opinions and advice in electronic and hard copy format; developing file maintenance and disposition plans and coordinating appropriate disposition of official documents and records; and preparing ethics correspondence in accordance with administrative policies.n--Possess 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education or master`s or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.B.

or J.D.).n--Possess a combination of graduate level education beyond the first year of progressive graduate study and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements for this position.nGS-11nIn order to qualify at the GS-11 level, you must meet one of the following:n--Possess 1-year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.

To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service.

Examples of GS-09 level work may include: assisting in the preparation of written and verbal advice to managers and employees on issues such as outside employment, gift acceptance, fundraising, lobbying, political activities, nepotism, etc.; assisting in managing an electronic financial disclosure system and the public financial disclosure reporting process; assisting in preparing communication materials for filers regarding their financial disclosure reports; reviewing public and confidential financial disclosure reports and preparing them for approval; researching the laws, regulations and policies that govern the financial interests; and assisting in preparing and developing training ethics related training materials.n--Possess 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education or Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree.n--Possess a combination of graduate level education beyond the first 2 years of progressive graduate study and appropriate experience that together meets qualification requirements for this position.You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements for the position by the closing date of the announcement.
