We are a fast-growing, dynamic SaaS startup, building our Cloud Engineering Team.
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer to bring their knowledge and experience to our Cloud Engineering team.
This position is 100% remote.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Engineer will work with our software teams to strategize and develop CI/CD pipelines, deploy and configure cloud resources, and monitor performance on deployed applications.
Candidates for this role should have extensive knowledge in release management and hosting large scale web applications on a cloud platform.Provisioning, configuring, and monitoring AWS cloud services such as EKS, EC2, and RDSManage infrastructure automation with tools like Terraform, and Cloud FormationManage and monitor uptime for multiple production web applicationsParticipate in DevOps, working with directly Project managers, Software Engineers and QADeveloping CI/CD pipelines for automating testing and delivery of software productsMaintain security compliance and improve our security stanceExplores new cloud technologiesWHAT WE LOOK FOR3+ years experience as a DevOps/Cloud EngineerHands-on experience with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teamsExperience managing large scale AWS deploymentsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, AnsibleExperience with NewRelic or similar monitoring platformsExperience with Azure DevOps, GitLabs, Jenkins or other CI/CD toolsExperience with GraphQL, mySQL, PostgresComfortable with large scale configuration managementSomeone passionate about delivering a great software experienceCollaborates with stakeholders in multiple departmentsAbility to juggle many projects at onceAbility to manage a backlog via Kanban style boardsIs communicative and open with team membersABOUT YOUGreat attitude (smile-through-the phone level of great!) and highly personableYou go the extra mile—providing the minimum isn't good enough for youYou tend to be an early – adopter who isn't intimidated by the latest techImpeccable follow-through (you finish your tasks and projects ALL the time, nothing falls through the cracks, if there is a breakdown you are fully in communication ahead of time)Common sense galore (you often hear of situations and are puzzled why other people don't get the simplest of things)Love and promote great team work.
