The Instrument Analytics team is part of the overall Analytics Solutions and has the responsibilities for creating the next-generation client-facing instrument-level analytics service across all asset classes such as fixed-income, securitized products, derivatives and equities.

The analytics solutions will be a commercial business in its own right, so a heavy emphasis on building technology that Client's will pay for and that creates stickiness.
The Index/ESG manager framework is leveraging J.P.Morgan internal securitized products as well as Athena calculations.
This framework is at an early stage of development, which offers an opportunity for an experienced developer to help shape the key components of the product and create commercial opportunities for a new business initiative.
You will partner primarily with fellow technologists from across lines of business, Product Development, and Quantitative Research to build a modern and comprehensive API allowing clients to easily define and compute analytics on a wide variety of financial instruments.
You will undertake analysis to specify pricing and analytics computations, write the necessary code and tests todeploy these into the framework, and additionally build out the framework itself into a market-leading analytics service.
* To succeed in this role you will need: * A keen interest in building a high-grade product to specifications suitable for commercialization * A good understanding of financial analytics concepts, and the drive to both broaden this knowledge and to apply it to building an industry-leading product * A strong background in Java or ReactJS development * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * A strong aptitude for problem-solving and an eye for detail, coupled with a thorough and diligent approach to analysis on sometimes complicated business and technical problems * Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills * A rigorous approach to time-management * Strong project management abilities, including an understanding of project lifecycle, estimation of work, multi-tasking, risk assessment and judgement, and the ability to unblock and escalate * To be highly motivated, with the drive to both learn and deliver quickly in a challenging but rewarding roleJ.P.
