This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.

Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of an INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRER without more than normal supervision.

The ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Applying specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain and repair sewer lines and distribution systems; 2) Maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment that control waste; 3) Operating vacuum and jetting trucks to clear and maintain sewer lines and distribution systems; and 4) Using portable machine or hand tools (e.g.

levels, feeler gauges, dial indicators, micrometers, tachometers and calipers) to repair, adjust and test sewer lines and distribution systems.

I work under the close supervision of a work leader or journey level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
