We continuously look ahead to advance the future and technology of our industry, by rolling up our sleeves to solve tough problems together, and by learning from our successes, as well as our failures.In this role, you will manage a team of engineers that is responsible for the design, development, and support of all services that compose FactSet’s Customer Identity and Access Management solution.  The IAM solution includes services that store customer identities, authenticate users and workloads, authorize requests, and propagate internal identity tokens between hundreds of microservices.  These core services are ubiquitous – used by all FactSet customers, applications, services, and engineers.  You’ll have a large impact on the success of the entire organization as we strive to aggressively expand our API program.Responsibilities:Lead a team of engineers building mission critical IAM services, including technical and architectural decision makingStay current with the security and IAM domains, and identify when to adopt technologies and best practicesIdentify the most important strategic projects and keep the team focused on themOwn the product vision and manage the roadmapCollaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and timelinesWork with AWS and on-premise systems to deploy Cloud services.Mentor your team membersPerform resource planning and recruitingQualifications:B.S.

or M.S.

degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent experience required5+ years’ experience programming in Java or another OOP languageA passion for web securityExtensive experience developing and supporting backend systemsExperience operating in a Linux programming environmentWilling to participate in an 24/7 oncall rotationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAMLPingFederate and custom extension developRole-based access control systems in large distributed environment.Familiarity with AWS IAMLDAP Server Management (e.g.

Active Directory, OpenLDAP)RESTful API DesignA strong understanding of browser functionality (e.g.

Cookies, CORS)Relational databases (e.g.
