This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

Pay:nGS-10: $60,074- $78,098nGS-11: $66,002 - $85,801nGS-12: $79,109 - $102,847 GS-10: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a wide range of technical engineering methods, principles, requirements, work techniques, and practices sufficient to advise on and/or resolve difficult but well-precedented, factual, procedural, and/or recurring issues; and perform installation, maintenance, operation, and testing duties.

GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, technical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and/or practices related to the test and evaluation of items, systems, and equipment associated with nuclear engineering projects.

GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and overseeing technical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and/or practices related to the test and evaluation of items, systems, and equipment associated with nuclear engineering projects.
