Due to the Pandemic, and individual states with different phases of reopening, the selectee’s report date to the official duty station/facility may be delayed until such time as employees are allowed to report to the workplace.

The person selected may telework up to the maximum extent possible, up to and including full time, until it is safe to relocate.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: may include but not limited to: (1) applying engineering principles, advanced design analysis and mathematics and their application to mechanical systems, use of electronic circuits.

(2) engineering functions such as design, development, evaluation, testing, installation and maintenance of equipment.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following has been determined to be a selective factor for this position.

This means possession of this criterion is part of the minimum qualifications and is essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Applicants who do not possess this criterion are ineligible for further consideration.SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: In order to be qualified for this position applicant(s) MUST possess knowledge and experience with building and facility mechanical and/or electrical system design and construction i.e.

heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, building management systems, fire suppression, power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm, intrusion, public address, etc.n(Provide details of your experience).Applicants may be asked to verify information on your application for employment with the FAA.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
