Due to the Pandemic, and individual states with different phases of reopening, the selectee’s report date to the official duty station/facility may be delayed until such time as employees are allowed to report to the workplace.

The person selected may telework up to the maximum extent possible, up to and including full time, until it is safe to relocate.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE may include but is not limited to: Experience defining/directing Facility Security projects and/or programs, which might include such aspects as developing new and innovative approaches, methodologies, and techniques associated with Facility Security; providing oversight of the day-to-day functions of a contract security force; ensuring compliance/conformance to Facility Security Plans and/or Facility Security Management Programs; dealing with risk management programs and proposing preventative actions regarding facility programs.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.In addition to the Minimum Qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor for this position.

This means well qualified candidates will have demonstrated the following:Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): A well-qualified candidates will demonstrate experience in 1 of the 2 areas identified below:n(1) Directing Facility Security projects/programs; defining requirements and developing internal policies and procedures, predicting potential issues and proposing preventative actions associated with Facility Security projects/programs.n(2) Serving as a Contracting Officers Representative (COR) applying comprehensive knowledge of the technical aspects of Facility Security programs.
