The time-in-grade requirement must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.nYou qualify for this position at the GS-14 level (starting salary $121,316) if you possessthe following:One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-13) in the Federal Service.

This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience.

Specialized experience for this position includes: Interpreting and administering public laws, Executive Orders, legislation and other directives related to budget and finance, and expertise with executing a Working Capital Fund,nDetermining deadlines and providing performance expectations to staff members,nPlanning, analyzing and executing the complete Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) resource management system and,nDirecting and overseeing customer relations with multiple Departments and Agencies, financial and budget management, human resources, accounting procedures, space (real estate) management, and administrative matters for a multi-disciplined emergency operations facility.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.nNOTE: Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience.
