This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, United StatesCoast Guard, Director of Logistics Operations (DOL), Base Seattle, Facilities Engineering in Seattle, WA.
You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one of the following:nA.
One year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector performing duties such as: Developing program implementation and oversightguides, manuals, technical orders, processes, procedures, tools, messages and related program document;nProviding mandatory, procedural, technical and legal requirements procedures for environmental managementhazardous material management and compliance matters;nIntegrating environmental compliance requirements into operations, acquisitions, programs and projects and assisting organizations to understand execution deficiencies and identifying and implementing corrective measures;nAdministering training to personnel on various aspects of environmental management and hazardous communication including proper handling, labeling and packaging of hazardous waste.
or equivalent doctoral degree; ORnC.
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; ORnD.
LL.M., if related; ORnE.
A combination of successfully completed post-doctorate education andexperience.nSpecialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.nNational Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
