This position is part of the Security & Intelligent Documents, Office of the Operations Manager, Secure Credential located at the Stennis Space Center, MS.
Screen-Out element, Job Element #1: Ability to do the work of a Bookbinder without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT), to be considered for this position.
Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of a Bookbinder, in a fast-paced, complex environment.
These duties require knowledge and technical skills in: setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining bindery equipment.
Multiple pieces of equipment such as lamination, cutters, folders, collators, stitchers, and converters.
Applicants must have experiences using at least 3 of the above equipment.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
