The Departmental Ethics Office is seeking a Ethics Specialist to serve as the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Deputy Ethics Counselor.

GS-14nIn order to qualify at the GS-14 level, you must meet one of the following: --Possess 1-year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.

To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service.

Examples of GS-13 level work may include: Overseeing and providing policy guidance on the full range of Ethics and Financial Disclosure reporting activities, implementation of federal standards of conduct and government ethics laws and regulations; analyzing ethics issues for compliance and/or potential violations; developing technical training materials for non-technical staff; experience in teaching ethics rules and their application to special or unique circumstances that are relevant to a variety of employees.
