Minimum Qualification Requirements for the Administrative and Management Positionshttps://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-StandardsnSpecialized Experience for the GS-15nOne year of experience equivalent to the GS-14 performing at least two (2) of the following three (3) duties or work assignments:1.Experience with the federal budget cycle including formulation, presentation and justification, or execution and supporting operations.2.Experience in serving as a senior expert and consultant to top agency management officials to advise on integrating the financial or budgeting system with the programs that affect Title IV, FSA and Finance Operations.3.Experience in advising other financial or budget experts throughout the agency and/or other agencies on issues that involve applying or tailoring methods and procedures developed by the employee to a variety of situations.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).

You do not need to provide separate narrative responses to these KSAs, as they will be measured by your responses to the occupational questionnaire (you may preview the occupational questionnaire by clicking the link at the end of the Evaluations section of this vacancy announcement).1.Knowledge of federal budget and appropriations processes, laws, regulations, policies and procedures governing administrative appropriations.2.Skill in communicating budgetary matters to multiple levels (internally and externally of a federal agency.3.Skill in formulating, justifying and executing major administrative appropriations.4.Skill in analyzing and validating financial data; drawing and recommending conclusions.
