This position is located in the Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer.

The incumbent is the Executive Director (ED) of the Regional Mission Support division (RMS).

As such, the ED is responsible for the development, administration, evaluation and management of the RMS.

This position (under the Deputy CRSO's authority) is the key process owner responsible for the administration and execution of CRSO's Field Efficiency Initiative and Regional Mission Support activities.

As a basic requirement for entry into the SES, applicants must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive level management capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under the Technical Qualification(s) and Executive Core Qualifications listed below.

Typically, experience of this nature will have been gained at or above the GS-15 grade level in the federal service or its equivalent in the private sector.

Detailed information on the Executive Core Qualifications is available at http://www.opm.gov/ses/recruitment/qualify.asp Technical Qualifications - Mandatory You will be evaluated on the following Technical Qualifications: TQ1: Demonstrated experience providing leadership for major programs and projects that directly support strategic, department, or agency-wide mission efforts to support the consolidation and integration of common support services and common management functions to include property and asset management, vehicle fleet and logistics management and planning.

TQ2: Demonstrated experience identifying regional mission support or real property optimization opportunities to include conducting business case analysis for recommendations to determine the mission and business impacts, risks, and sensitivities of alternatives.

TQ3: Demonstrated experience directing diverse subordinate staff in support of identifying and meeting strategic goals using innovative solutions to maximize unity of effort.

Lead and inspire team to deliver on time and on budget meeting all service level agreements required by the programs and customers served in large government organizations, and public or private sectors.

Demonstrated success working with large teams with differing objectives and competing priorities to achieve a desired joint outcome.


Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
