The Bureau of Labor Statistics measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S.

economy to support public and private decision making.nThis is with the Office of Employment and Unemployment Statistics, National Longitudinal Surveys (NLS).n- This is inside the bargaining unit Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal Service.nSpecialized experience is defined as work that demonstrates: (1) experience working as a Level II or Level III Contracting Officer's Representative performing technical and administrative functions in support of the contract; (2) experience planning, developing, analyzing, and representing budget proposals and long range program initatives; (3) experience in the production of survey data; and (4) skill in communicating effectively with stakeholders and building coalitions.
