This position is located in the Office of the Administrator, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), in Washington, D.C.

You will serve as an integral member of the Administrator's team of advisors and maintain a close relationship with the Administrator and the Deputy Administrator.

You will represent the Administrator and Deputy Administrator and reflect their views, initiatives, personal and professional philosophies and goals during meetings, conferences, and other venues.

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Experience advising or providing guidance to a member of Congress during program briefings, congressional hearings, committee meetings, mark-ups, or interviews.nExperience analyzing budgets and Congressional legislative proposals to effectively reconcile member’s priorities and organization’s mission.nExperience communicating with congressional staff about transportation policy to inform, explain, and respond to congressional actions.nExperience applying organizational requirements in order to effectively lead, motivate, and manage work teams.
