This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Office of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Directorate of Cybersecurity, Division of Security Authorization Management (SAM), Security Testing and Evaluation (ST&E) Branch.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.nApplicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-14, in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience is defined as experience: Managing a cybersecurity program and system authorization lifecycle; Serving as Subject Matter Expert in initiating, directing, and participating in the security assessments and on-going authorization of information systems and data in local and geographically dispersed agency facilities; Providing clear and concise briefings, summaries, and progress reports pertaining to status updates to cybersecurity management, departmental officials, and other cybersecurity customers.
