Specialized Experience: Applicant must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: Developing and managing a multi-media communication and training program to help promote a culture of privacy awareness and transparency; Assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of communication and training strategies, materials, and policies that promote and achieve the agency's goals; Developing public affairs activities both internal and external to the agency to maintain effective communication; and Planning and assigning work to be accomplished based on priorities.

All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

NOTE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
